Children under the age of 14 are unable to use the weight room floors without going through a session with a Sonora Sports and Fitness Center Personal Trainer.

DaviD Temple

David is a NASM certified personal trainer, specializing in fat loss and body sculpting.  He is also a Crossfit Level One certified coach. He strives to help his personal training clients to reach their goals, whether it's increased energy, fat loss, strength or stamina. He finds that the most important things to remember when starting a new fitness regiment are "don't rush it", "be patient and go for it." "We are all in this together."

David leads SSFC's RISEABOVE Small Group Personal Training Program, which is a mix of training foundations, such as weight lifting, cardio, flexibility and functional movements.

Brittany Huber

Brittany has been a Sonora resident since 2005 and was born and raised around fitness. Some of our members may know her mother, Shanna Huber. After receiving a Bachelor's in Biology in June 2013, Brittany wasted no time in getting her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She also aspires to be a physical therapist.

Brittany believes that physical health is essential to overall wellness. Whether an individual is an athlete training for a sport or an individual that wants to keep his or her heart healthy and strong; physical fitness is the key to achieving health related goals.

 

Michelle King

Michelle is a NASM certified personal trainer with additional NASM certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Youth Exercise Specialist. She enjoys working with clients one on one or in groups to achieve their goals, whether those goals are improved sports performance or simply staying active to enjoy life! In addition to personal training Michelle also enjoys teaching several of our group fitness classes such as Fit 4 Life, Strength and Balance, Body Pump and water aerobics.

In her free time Michelle is chasing her four kids from one activity to the next or she's relaxing at the lake with family and friends!

Personal Training: $35-85/hr*

*Fees are established by individual trainers, based on the level of training that is required for their client’s goals and capabilities. Complimentary training sessions may be used by members to create their own individual fitness program, learn how to safely use exercise equipment, or discuss health and fitness related topics.
