Join Susanne Harris on June 28 from 10am to noon for Somatic Yoga. This course will focus on combining breath with therapeutic movement of the neck and shoulders. Appropriate for all levels of ability.
The neck and shoulders are an area where many of us experience tightness or pain. This may be caused by stress, posture, a sedentary or a vigorous lifestyle. The shoulders may become unstable due to their wide range of motion, or impinged when a nerve gets trapped. Often the neck is affected as well, causing an imbalance in the two sides of the body, which can lead to headaches, jaw pain and other discomforts.
Together, we will release long-held muscle tension, decrease persistent pain, and improve mobility. Modification will be given for every level. No Yoga experience necessary.
