Somatic Yoga for Legs and Feet
This class will focus on therapeutic movement for Legs and Feet. Join Susanne Saturday, August 9th from 10AM to Noon and learn how to increase mobility and strength in your lower body, awaken sensation in your feet and stability in your joints, ground yourself physically and mentally, and enjoy a guided relaxation.
Suitable for all levels of ability. Indicated for people with arthritis, as well as knee and hip pain. Modifications and adaptations will be offered.
Our feet and legs provide the structure of support that carries us through our day. When we enhance freedom in our joints and stability in our lower body we are better able to perform physical tasks and pursue our fitness goals. We also experience a felt sense of security and ease, both physically and emotionally.
No yoga experience necessary.
